The Carefree Boat Club of Ocean City is your gateway to the Atlantic Ocean, Assateague Island, Assawoman Bay, and all the great boating the surrounding Maryland and Delaware Beaches have to offer. The Carefree Boat Club of Ocean City opened in April 2019 and is located less than a mile from the beach at the Island Watersports marina in Fenwick Island, Delaware next to Harpoon Hanna's. Being a member of our club at this prime location, located centrally on the Maryland and Delaware line means you spend less time and money burning fuel and more time having fun on the water. With Carefree Boat Club, it's about time, your time spent on the water doing the things you love with family and friends!
Boating the Carefree Way
The Ocean City area offers some of the best boating on the east coast. From the Atlantic Ocean, to the Assawoman Bay, and rivers and creeks surrounding the bay, you can enjoy a wide array of different boating activities. Your day will start with one of our dock hands greeting you to assist with loading the boat. Do you need some ice for your cooler, beach towels or perhaps a riding tube or wakeboard? Don't worry because we've got you covered. Our members enjoy a concierge level experience as we are part of a full-service marina. Whether you are an avid fisherman chasing a prize catch on the Atlantic Ocean or in the flats, a family looking to capture memorable moments in time with your children tubing or wakeboarding on the bay, empty nesters who simply want to enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of leisure cruising down Assawoman, or a business professional who wants to entertain your clients on a dinner cruise, our club can meet your needs. In fact, with the wide variety of boats, we offer in our fleet, our club is the only one in the Delmarva area that will allow you to do all those things with a single all-inclusive membership!
As a club member, you're not stuck with one type of boat. Carefree Boat Club members have unlimited access to the perfect boat for the perfect activity, all year round. Our members have quick access to all that Ocean City and Fenwick Island have to offer:
From Lewes to downtown Ocean City, up and down the barrier islands, the beauty amazes and the wildlife is everywhere. Get an up-close view of dolphins while they frolic in the water next to your boat. Cruise behind Assateague to watch the wild ponies run throughout the island. Watch an Osprey soar overhead and then suddenly swoop down and pluck a fish from the water with its talons. You may even catch the awe-inspiring sight of whales breaching in the Atlantic just off the Ocean City beach! The awesome experience of viewing the natural beauty of the Delmarva by boat is breathtaking!
When you have enjoyed your day to the fullest, return the boat to the marina and one of our dock hands will greet you to assist with docking and unloading the boat. We will handle all the rest for you, from cleaning, and storing the boat to maintaining it so that it will keep you and your family safe and perform as you would expect it to out on the water.

Your membership gives you reciprocal use to our over 140 clubs nationwide. This provides you with even more year-round boating opportunities and the ability to use a boat while on vacation without the hassle of trailering.
